Leadership

The Board of Trustees of Unity St. Louis-South is a group of members voted into leadership based on their personal and professional skills and united in their love of Unity of St. Louis-South. Their purpose is to oversee the strategic plan and the financial state of the church while upholding Unity principles.

Their varied duties include:

• Upholding the spiritual purpose of the Ministry
• Holding the highest interest of the Membership in conducting the business of the Ministry
• Determining policies and procedures for conducting the business of the church
• Determining business needs of the Ministry & authorize payment of moneys for these purposes
• Managing the assets of the Church
• Establishing and overseeing committees to expand the effectiveness of the board & to create a community effort

Our Board of Trustees meets on the second Sunday of every month. If you are interested in being a guest at a meeting, please contact a member of the Leadership Team.

The Sacred Service Director of Unity St. Louis-South is an integral part of the leadership of the church.  At the direction of the Board of Trustees, the Sacred Service Director oversees all matters and personnel regarding the church’s Sunday Sacred Service.

Unity of St Louis South is fortunate to have wonderful support from our friends and community.

Inspired by the vision of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, co-founders of the Unity movement, Unity of St. Louis South is using a team ministry approach. With the guidance of our Board of Trustees, members of our congregation with diverse backgrounds speak on Sundays, sharing Unity truths and examples from their own spiritual experiences. We also invite guest speakers from other Unity Churches, Unity Village in Missouri, and other spiritual backgrounds to speak on Sundays and to lead workshops that help us enrich our lives.

This team ministry allows the congregation to benefit from the different perspectives and divine inspiration of many talented individuals.

​Music is a balm for the soul...a joy for the heart and fulfillment for the spirit. We are very blessed at Unity of St Louis South to have professional musicians share their gift with us each Sunday. Brian Clarke is a solo performer, vocalist, guitarist and writer. Mitzi Macdonald is a writer, singer and with her family is a member of the Keltic Reign Band.
